Surface Preparation: Ensure the success of your project with proper surface preparation. The substrate must be sound, clean, and free from oil or grease. Tiles should be clean, dry, and dust-free. Prior to adhesive application, soak the substrate completely with water. This crucial step enhances surface adhesion, contributing to a secure bond.

Mixing Instructions:

1. Combine 25 kg of EuroTile LM2 with 1 liter of Part B latex liquid to achieve a uniform, lump-free consistency.
2. For optimal adhesion and flexibility, consider increasing the proportion of Part B additive.
3. Allow the mixture to stand for a few minutes to ensure complete dissolution of resins.
4. Utilize a forced-action mixer for thorough and efficient mixing. Hand mixing is suitable for small quantities, ensuring the powder/water ratio is maintained.

EUROTILE LM2 – 614- Precision Application Guide

Application Process:

1. Apply EuroTile LM2 mortar with precision, ensuring a uniform thickness of 2-3 mm on the substrate. Work on an area of no more than 1m2 at a time.
2. For horizontal applications, employ solid bed fixing. For vertical applications, use a toothed trowel with 6 mm notches at 25 mm center-to-center spacing. Comb horizontally to remove excess adhesive.
3. Place the tile, press it firmly, and smooth it carefully to achieve even mortar distribution. A perfect bond is indicated when the tile does not slide.

Important Points:

• Compulsory Soaking: Soak both the substrate and tiles before installation for enhanced coverage and open time.
• Open Time: At 35°C, EuroTile LM2 mortar offers an open time of approximately 30 minutes. Prepare only the amount of mortar that can be tiled within this timeframe.

Primer Application: For superior adhesion, apply EuroBond AR primer on Gypsum/Cement board before tile installation.
