Description
TIPONPRIME SB is a high-quality, solvent-based bituminous primer designed for use on concrete and brick substrates. It is formulated to improve the adhesion of bituminous membranes and coatings. TIPONPRIME SB penetrates porous surfaces, seals micro-cracks and pinholes, and creates a uniform bitumen film that ensures superior bonding between membranes and substrates.

Method of Application
Surface Preparation

Surface must be clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, grease, curing compounds, and contaminants.

Remove all loose materials and repair any damaged or unsound areas.
Application

Stir TIPONPRIME SB thoroughly before use.

Apply using a brush or roller in a uniform coat.

Allow to dry completely (tack-free) before membrane application.

For highly porous surfaces, a second coat is recommended.

Re-coat any light or patchy areas.
Application Temperature

Between 5°C to 45°C

4–6 m² per coat, depending on substrate porosity

Cleaning

Clean tools with water immediately after use
