EuroRelease WB 912 – Water-Based Chemical Mould Release Agent


1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
EuroRelease WB 912 is a water-based, chemical mould release agent designed for use on various formwork surfaces prior to the casting of concrete. It ensures easy release of the mould and provides a smooth, fair-faced, and stain-free concrete finish.


2. USES
EuroRelease WB 912 can be applied on any type of formwork, including:

  • Timber

  • Plywood

  • Metal

  • Plastic

  • Concrete

  • Other suitable formwork materials

4. ACTION
EuroRelease WB 912 reacts chemically with the cement to impart excellent release properties to treated surfaces. It ensures that the concrete casts against the coated surface with a smooth, hard, and uniform finish.
EuroRelease WB 912 does not negatively affect the properties of concrete or impair the adhesion of subsequent surface treatments when applied at the recommended coverage rates.


5. SHELF LIFE

  • Up to 24 months when stored away from direct sunlight and protected from high temperatures.


6. PACKAGING

  • Available in 210 Litre drums.


7. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure that the formwork surfaces are clean and dry before application.

  2. Application: Apply EuroRelease WB 912 evenly onto the formwork using a brush, roller, or spray gun.

  3. Drying Time: Allow the coating to dry before placing the concrete. Ensure the formwork is not tacky.

  4. Cleaning of Equipment: Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use.


8. TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

  • Appearance: Milky white liquid

  • Odour: Slight, non-irritating

  • Specific Gravity (20°C): 1.05 – 1.10

  • Viscosity (20°C): Low

  • Coverage: Approximately 30 – 40 m² per litre depending on surface texture and application method

  • Solubility in Water: Completely soluble


9. SAFETY & HANDLING

  • Safety Precautions: EuroRelease WB 912 is non-toxic and safe for use. However, avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

  • Storage Conditions: Store in original containers, away from sunlight, high temperatures, and freezing conditions.

  • Disposal: Dispose of empty containers in accordance with local regulations.
