PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Proudi Sealer SB is a high-performance thermoplastic acrylic resin floor coating and concrete curing agent. It provides a deep-penetrating, non-yellowing, scuff-resistant finish. Available in both clear glossy and matte finishes, it is ideal for sealing, curing, and protecting a variety of concrete surfaces.

APPLICATIONS

  • Sealing, curing, and protective coat for colored and uncolored concrete surfaces.

  • Ideal for stamped concrete, chemically stained concrete, exposed aggregate concrete, and masonry surfaces.

  • Protects interlock, porous brick, natural stone, plaster, wood, and other absorptive materials from moisture and oil penetration.

  • Suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

  • Chemical Resistance (ASTM D543:95, 7 days):

  • Moisture Resistance (ASTM C156): 0.313%

  • Dry Time (21°C, 50% RH):

    • 30 min to touch dry

    • 1 hour recoat time

    • 4 hours foot traffic

    • 24 hours for heavy traffic

    • 48 hours for full cure

  • Film Thickness: <100 microns

  • Thinning: Not required; use organic solvents for cleaning.

COVERAGE

  • First Coat: 4 m²/L

  • Second Coat: 5 m²/L

  • Minimum two coats recommended. Coverage rates vary depending on surface porosity, texture, and other conditions.

LIMITATIONS

  • Do not apply if ambient temperature is expected to drop below 3°C within 24 hours.

  • Avoid application if rain, dew, or water exposure is expected within 24 hours after application.

  • Avoid application in direct sunlight or during high winds.

  • For matte finish, apply a glossy coat first.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free of grease, oil, dirt, wax, and other contaminants.

  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and ensure thorough rinsing before application.

  • Scraping, wire brushing, sanding, or power washing may be necessary for previously applied coatings.

  • Allow surfaces to dry for at least 24 hours.

  • Do not use soap or detergent for cleaning, as residues may prevent adhesion.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Application: Apply full strength. Avoid application in direct sunlight or during strong winds. Apply early in the morning or late in the evening on hot days.

  • Use a synthetic or nylon-bristled brush. For smooth surfaces, use a 6 mm nap roller. For textured surfaces, use a 9-12 mm nap roller.

  • Apply two coats for maximum protection, especially on unpainted and highly porous surfaces.

  • Apply a coat of glossy grade before applying the matte grade of sealer.

  • Allow 24-48 hours drying time between coats.

  • Foot traffic is allowed after 24 hours, heavy traffic after 72 hours.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • DANGER: Flammable vapor and liquid. Contains aromatic hydrocarbons.

  • Harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Causes eye irritation.

  • Use in a well-ventilated area with proper respiratory protection (NIOSH TC-84A approved organic vapor respirator).

  • Wear goggles, protective clothing, and vinyl gloves when handling.

  • Keep away from heat or ignition sources.

FIRST AID:

  • Eyes: Flush immediately with fresh water.

  • Skin: Wash with soap and water.

  • Inhalation: Leave the area if breathing difficulty occurs.

  • Ingestion: Give large amounts of water and induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.

MAINTENANCE

  • Inspect treated surfaces periodically for thin or worn areas. Reapply sealer as necessary.

CLEANING

  • Clean tools and equipment with organic solvents.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

  • Store at 25°C in dry conditions, away from direct sunlight or freezing conditions.

  • Shelf life is approximately 12 months in the original unopened container.
