STORAGE:
- Shelf Life: Up to 12 months when stored in ambient temperature conditions.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
-
Surface Preparation:
- Ensure concrete is structurally sound, clean, and free of contaminants (loose concrete, dust, dirt, oils, etc.).
- Steel surfaces must be clean and free from paint, oil, or rust.
- Abrade smooth substrates to promote proper bonding.
- Saturate the prepared area with potable water for 12-24 hours prior to application, but remove excess water before applying EuroGrout FG 804.
-
Mixing:
- Mix with potable water using a slow-speed drill or mixing blade.
- Add 4-4.5 liters of water per 25 kg bag for desired consistency.
- Mix until the mortar is smooth and lump-free.
- Do not mix for extended periods to prevent early hardening.
-
Priming:
- Soak prepared surfaces with water for several hours before application.
- For better flow, EuroBond primer can be used but is not compulsory.
-
Application:
- Pour within 5 minutes after mixing to take advantage of the expansion process.
- Pour the grout from one side to avoid air trapping.
- Vibration can be used if necessary to assist placement.
- Do not add extra water or attempt to re-mix if material begins to harden.
- Recommended grout placement thickness is up to 250 mm.
-
Curing:
- Protect against drying winds and direct sunlight.
- Cover with wet hessian or curing compounds as needed.
-
Cleaning:
- Clean tools and hands with water before the grout hardens.
HEALTH & SAFETY:
- Wear protective clothing (gloves, goggles) when handling the product.
- In case of skin or eye contact, rinse immediately with fresh water.
- If the product is ingested, do not induce vomiting—seek medical attention.
